The Ciência 2023 event, co-organised by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), Ciência Viva, and Universidade de Aveiro, took place 5-7 July at the University of Aveiro. During this event to promote Portuguese scientific developments and foster Portuguese scientific ecosystem interactions, Vasco da Gama CoLAB participated in two fruitful sessions.
➡️ In the session "The contribution of CoLABs to the decarbonisation and to the energy transition", under the representation of our Business Developer João Paulo Sousa, we had the opportunity to expose how we believe that energy storage has a key and growing role in the energy transition. It was great to have the chance to be recognised as a key strategic and unique bridge builder between academia and the industrial world of the sector.
➡️ In the second session entitles "The role of EU RRP to support the R&I ecosystem (Missão Interface)", on Friday, our CEO & MD Luís Miguel Costa, MScEng, PhD, SMIEEE, participated in a round table moderated by Sofia Couto, from ANI - Agência Nacional de Inovação, where it was discussed how to enhance knowledge capitalization through the smart utilization of CoLAB structures especially focused on technology transfer.
These are clear indicators of how the VG CoLAB is positioning itself as a unique value-adding element in the national energy ecosystem bridging science with societal fruition.
